Apple Watch Ultra display reportedly getting 10% larger
- A new report from DigiTimes states that the Apple Watch Ultra will gain a 10% larger screen next year.
- It will also get microLED technology, for higher brightness and improved contrast.
- It's unclear whether the device will be updated this year.
According to a new report from DigiTimes, a new Apple Watch Ultra with a 2.1-inch display is planned for 2024. This increase in size, up from its current 1.93-inch display, would be around 10% and make it the largest Apple Watch on the market.

The new Ultra is also expected to feature a microLED display, which will result in higher brightness, improved contrast, and decreased power consumption compared to current OLED displays. The larger display size will also likely result in the Ultra becoming the first Apple Watch with a 50mm case size.
Due to these improvements coming in 2024, it is unclear if there will be any updates to the Ultra in 2023.
